Casalogica - straw and wooden houses hardware

Adveco has recently started a partnership with Casalogica, a firm from Brescia that produces natural and eco-friendly buildings.

Casalogica is an innovative start-up with the goal to promote a concrete and hyrocarbon derived free construction industry that as recently started the construction of straw houses, and the more known wooden houses.

Casalogica first contacted Adveco about those projects for straw houses, in the beginning for the production of frameworks for panels to be displayed in a "straw house/booth" (side picture) for the exposition of the project during the Greeen Utopia Fair 2015, that took place last year at the Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan, related to Milan Design Week, Fuorisalone and, of course, to Expo 2015.

But their partnership didn't end there, because straw houses too, as wooden houses, need specific hardware: Adveco worked and continues working with Casalogica also for the production of hardware for straw houses, particularly for hangers, base posts and large screws, simple and reinforced angle brackets of different sizes, besides all the small parts needed for the construction and assembly of straw walls.

Recently, Adveco gave its contribution supplying hardware for the realization of the "straw house/booth" displayed at Green Utopia but also for the straw houses "Casa In" in Tredicesimo (Udine), "Casa CM"in Rosà (Vicenza) and "Casa C" in Ghisalba (Bergamo). Adveco's support has been appreciated also for our willingness to work together to find engineering solutions useful for the specific realization of straw walls and wooden frameworks for the production of the architectonic structure in which these are inserted.

Highly experienced in this field, Adveco is able to provide to its clients its custom-made carpentry production that, in this case, was very important to create items that allowed to build such houses. 

This project raised great interest, and specialised magazines also published articles about it, as, for example, the article in the June 2015 issue of "Strutturalegno", pages 49-51, published by Web and Magazine srl.
